Learning

At Bright Ideas, the child comes first. We take pride in not only providing for their physical and emotional needs, but for their developmental needs as well. Our curriculum was created for its balance between both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. It is our goal to help the children develop the passion for learning that they will carry with them throughout their life.  Bright Ideas uses a weekly theme based curriculum that is designed to foster social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development and to enhance learning in literacy, math, science, social studies, and the arts.  This allows the teachers to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, content-rich program for children of all backgrounds and skill levels that is constantly matching the interests of the students. Please be sure to look for the weekly lesson plans hanging in the classrooms.

Communication

Providing an environment where children grow their confidence and learn to express themselves in a variety of situations.

Social and emotional

Encourage children to develop an attitude of kindness, cooperation, courtesy and helpfulness towards others while developing self-confidence and independence.

Physical

Helping children develop their coordination, control and movement through a variety of fine and gross motor activities.

Expressive arts

Enabling children to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials.

Literacy

Encouraging children to link sounds and letters and begin to read and write. Children are exposed to a wide range of reading materials to ignite their interest.

Mathematics

Helping children with their counting skills, understanding numbers and simple addition and subtraction problems.

I am the younger three-year-olds teacher. I have been here for two years. It is a fun, awesome, and exciting place to learn and grow. The staff is amazing. We are a family here. We love to teach, learn, and grow with the children. It is creative, fun, hands on learning, and exploring new things.

I cannot say enough great things about Bright Ideas Enrichment Center! From day one, the entire team has made me feel comfortable and confident that my son is in the best hands. The director, Ms. Bonnie, and Co-director, Ms. Sherri, are both wonderful - always keeping me up to date, answering any questions I have, and showing such genuine care for the children and families.

The staff is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond every single day, creating a safe, loving, and fun environment while also helping my son reach his milestones. I've seen so much growth in him since he started, and it's clear that the teachers truly care about his development and success.

I'm so grateful we found Bright Ideas. It feels like family here, and I couldn't imagine a better place for my child.

I Love that they take pictures and videos all day to keep you updated on your child. This is also the first daycare my son doesn’t cry at when I drop him off

My kids have been going here for almost a decade now and I couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else. The staff is amazing and my kids have always loved going!

Super happy with the staff here - they are so friendly and helpful. Our toddler has been going here for months. He actually learned how to walk with Ms. Greta and they recorded it and sent it to us right away. They update us regularly and keep a detailed entry of what he’s been up to hourly. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this childcare center! I toured many centers when I first became the guardian of my grand kids and quickly chose Bright Ideas as it was evident the they would provide great care for my grandchildren. After having my grandchildren at Bright Ideas for the past three years I am so thankful that I chose them for childcare. The teachers and the Director, Ms. Bonnie, really care about these children. They teach them all the essentials needed to start kindergarten and continue teaching them once they become school aged. They also feed the children healthy meals and snacks. The facility is always clean and well maintained. I would recommend this center to anyone looking for childcare for their kids.

My baby attends this center and I also work for them. Everyone has taken such good care of my baby girl since we’ve been here. This past year has been really rough in my personal life and they’ve been super flexible with everything.
